The disciplinary committee of the German Football Association (DFB) has suspended Werder Bremen's Claudio Pizarro for three league matches for retaliative violent conduct.
Player and club have accepted the verdict.

Pizarro was sent off in the 90th minute of Bremen's match at Karlsruher SC on December 6th 2008 by referee Guido Winkmann.

Stajner had been sent off for violent conduct in the dying minutes of Hanover's 2-1 defeat at 1. FC Köln.
