Hannover's Jan Rosenthal has finally returned to team training after a long absence - without any problems.
The 22-year-old could even make the squad for Sunday's Bundesliga game at VfL Wolfsburg.
Rosenthal had spent the last six weeks in a specialised clinic in Donaustauf in a bid to overcome yet another muscle injury, and successfully so.
Three fitness concerns
Jan Schlaudraff, Mario Eggimann and Steven Cherundolo were not able to train, however.
Swiss international Eggimann is down with flu, Cherundolo is struggling with a bruised leg. The American right back should be able to return to the training ground on Thursday or Friday at the latest, however.
Jan Schlaudraff had to withdraw with abdominal muscle problems, an exact diagnosis is yet to be made.
Enke in action
On a positive note, Robert Enke finally was able to catch a ball without his hand in plaster when he did some catching and fitness sessions with stamina coach Edward Kowalczuk.
Enke won't return to the pitch in 2008, however.
