Leonardo De Deus Santos has made a welcome return to the Borussia Dortmund training ground.
Dede restarted with running exercises three months after picking up a serious knee injury and declared: “Now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Return to team training in January
The 30-year-old full back had torn cruciate knee ligaments on matchday 1 during Borussia's 3-2 win at Bayer Leverkusen.
He will be able to start training carefully with the ball in the foreseeable future. The return to team training is scheduled for the training camp in Marbella in January 2009.
