Adriano: Not heading to Brazil
Adriano’s agent has rubbished suggestions that the Inter Milan striker could be set to return to Brazil in January.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Sao Paulo before coming back to Italy to try and resurrect his Inter career.
He has been left out of the side by Jose Mourinho in recent weeks after repeatedly turning up late to training.
There has been speculation that Adriano could move on in the New Year, with Fluminense understood to be keen on bringing him in.
However, agent Gilmar Rinaldi has insisted that Adriano will not be heading back to Brazil when the transfer window reopens.
“It’s a ridiculous thing,” Rinaldi told the Italian press.
“There are no possibilities he could come back to play in Brazil with any club.”
