Against England with three debutants

Germany coach Joachim Löw has called up three debutants into the squad for the international against England in Berlin next Wednesday.

Hoffenheims Marvin Compper and Tobias Weis as well as VfL Wolfsburg's Marcel Schäfer will be part of the Germany squad for the very first time.

Ballack and Frings not included

Michael Ballack, Philipp Lahm, Clemens Fritz, Marcell Jansen and Christian Pander miss out due to injury.

Torsten Frings isn't in the squad either. He takes a break in consultation with head coach Joachim Löw.
