Simao might not be the most consistent player at Atlético Madrid but there is no doubting that when he is on form he is a real threat down the wing and from set-pieces, as he has shown as of late.

The Portugal international has been the inspiration for Los Rojiblancos a few times already this season but speaking to Portuguese news channel Sic, he says that he is still dreaming of a move away from the club and to England.

“I signed a four-year contract,” he began.

“I have two more years remaining and if I complete them I will do so with happiness, but I continue with my dream to play in England. The way of playing and the stadiums attract me.”

Despite his desires though the winger did confirm that he is ‘very happy’ at Atlético right now and described his almost telepathic connections with Diego Forlán and Sergio Agüero before praising the city.

“When I get the ball I want to give it to the two fowards, I know the space the occupy and I do not even need to look,” he declared.

“Madrid surprised me in a positive way. Spaniards know how to live and I believe that we [Portuguese people] should copy little parts of their lives.”
