Jose reiterates English desire

Mourinho: Happy at Inter

Jose Mourinho has reiterated his desire to return to England one day.

The former Chelsea chief says he plans to return to the Premier League when he decides to quit his role with Inter Milan.

The Portuguese tactician revealed last week that he would relish the opportunity of plying his trade back in England in the future and Mourinho has confirmed the Premier League will be first port of call when his contract expires at Inter.

Mourinho insists he is happy with life at Inter and that he could not imagine himself managing another Italian side straight after the Nerazzurri.

“My contract is for three years and what I was saying was, the same way I was very connected with Chelsea in my time there and I couldn’t leave Chelsea for another English club directly, I say the same here,” he told Sky Sports News.

“In this moment I am very, very close to Inter.

“I have no conditions one day to leave Inter and go to another Italian club I have to choose another country

“Which country? That comes after I decide to go.”

When asked if that country could be England, Mourinho remarked: “England, but let me work here for three years which is my contract and I am very, very happy.”
