Ancelotti: Under pressure
AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti held a meeting with chief executive Adriano Galliani and club staff on Monday to discuss their poor start to the season.
The Rossoneri have lost both their opening two Serie A games this season to Bologna and Genoa.
The defeats have increased the pressure on Ancelotti after Milan missed out qualifying for the Champions League lastseason by finishing in fifth spot.
Galliani says himself and club owner Silvio Berlusconi still had faith in Ancelotti despite their early season struggles and Ancelotti has revealed the talks went well.
“We’ve had a meeting between the club, the coaching team and the medical staff to assess the situation and to try to find the best solution,” Ancelotti told the Italian media.
“It went well.”
Milan face FC Zurich in the Uefa Cup first round first leg on Thursday hoping to get a victory to kick-start their campaign.
