Senderos: Milan medical
AC Milan have confirmed Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is currently undergoing a medical at the club.
Reports emerged on Monday suggesting the Switzerland international was poised to undergo a medical with the Serie A giants, however until now neither club had confirmed the rumours.
It is claimed that Senderos is set to complete a season-long loan deal that would include an option for Milan to sign him permanently at the end of the 2008/09 campaign.
Senderos has demonstrated mixed form since joining the Gunners from Servette in 2003 and has failed to feature for the club this term.
The centre-back’s future was cast into further doubt following the surprise capture of Mikael Silvestre from Manchester United last week.
Should the switch go through, the 23-year-old will join former team-mate Mathieu Flamini at the San Siro after the Frenchman left Arsenal earlier this summer.
