VfL Wolfsburg came back from the dead to rescue a point in the 2-2 draw at VfL Bochum.

Bochum had stormed into a 4-0 half-time lead to win 5-3 in the corresponding fixture last season, and Marcel Koller's team had the better start yet again.

Sestak opener

Stanislav Sestak opened the scoring after twelve minutes, and Paul Freier (7, 26) could have added more goals inside the first half.

Christoph Dabrowski then doubled Bochum's lead with a header five minutes into the second half.

Saglik equaliser

It took Wolfsburg only one minute to get back into the match, however, as Ricardo Costa scored from close range following an almighty goalmouth scramble.

Wolfsburg took the game to Bochum and deservedly equalised through half-time substitute Mahir Saglik 20 minutes from time.
