Di Vaio: Happy with move

Serie A new boys Bologna have completed the signing of Marco Di Vaio from Genoa.

The experienced striker has agreed a season-long loan at Bologna with the option of a permanent deal next summer.

He had been deemed surplus to requirements at Genoa and had also attracted interest from Chievo Verona.

However, Chievo signed Pablo Granoche and Di Vaio is happy to have linked up with Bologna.

“The impact is very positive,” Di Vaio told the club’s official website when asked for his first impressions of his new team.

“There is the desire on the part of everyone to do well and start off on the right foot.

“In my case, for things to go in the best possible way will depend, first of all, on myself.”
