Borussia Dortmund's Dede has undergone knee surgery four days after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The surgery at knee specialist Dr. Jürgen Eichhorn in Straubing was successful, but the Brazilian will still be out for half a year.

“I'm happy that everything went well”, Dede said after the operation.

The full back will remain in Straubing for a week or so before starting rehab.##6##
