Sampdoria have captured Argentina international defender Jonathan Pablo Bottinelli from San Lorenzo de Almagro.

The centre-back moves to Italy having impressed for San Lorenzo over recent seasons after progressing through the club’s academy.

Bottinelli was a part of San Lorenzo’s youth set-up and he went on to make 125 league appearances for the South American club.

Neither side has revealed details of the fee or the term’s of Bottinelli’s contract.
