FCB coach Jürgen Klinsmann will be without eight stars in the cup match at Erfurt on Sunday.

Franck Ribery (ankle ligaments), Martin Demichelis (calf), Willy Sagnol (Achilles), Hans Jörg Butt (sprain), Tim Borowski (knee), Jose Sosa and Breno (both at the Olympics) had already been ruled out.


Schweinsteiger back

Italian striker Luca Toni (calf) will be sidelined, too. “It's too early for Luca”, Klinsmann conceded.

Reserves players Thomas Müller, Holger Badstuber and Deniz Yilmaz could all play a part in Sunday's DFB Cup match, and Bastian Schweinsteiger has recovered from flu.
