New striker for Hertha
Bundesliga side Hertha BSC have signed Tunisian Mohamed Amine Chermiti.

The 20-year-old had been playing for Tunisian club Etoile Sportive du Sahel.

Loan deal

He was signed on loan for two seasons with an option for two more - which Hertha have already exercised.

“I'm glad to be in Berlin and with Hertha”, the Tunisian international said.

Number 27

“First of all we're delighted that the transfer is secured after months of tough negotiations”, sporting director Dieter Hoeneß commented.

Chermiti will wear the number 27 shirt at Hertha, and he might be part of the squad when Hertha take on Eintracht Trier in the DFB Cup on Friday - if the Tunisian football association comes up with the clearance in time.
