Inler: Agent set for talks
Gokhan Inler’s agent claims he is planning to meet Arsenal to discuss a possible move for the Udinese midfielder.
Switzerland international Inler has been linked with a £10million move to Emirates Stadium as Arsene Wenger searches for midfield reinforcements.
Wenger has seen Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto Silva leave North London over the summer and is in the market for a suitable replacement.
Inler is rumoured to be one target Wenger is considering, although Udinese have insisted Inler will not be moving to the Premier League.
However, the 24-year-old’s representative Dino Lamberti claims he will be travelling to London to visit the Gunners next week.
Difficult
Lamberti admits there is no concrete bid from Arsenal, but says Inler would have to give serious thought to the chance to link up with Wenger.
“I’m due to go to London and take a look over everything, but no deal has been done yet with Arsenal,” Lamberti told Tages Anzeiger.
“It is difficult for us to take a decision, but Arsenal is certainly something that Gokhan needs to look at.
“Wenger is someone who helps young players go forward.”
