Pirlo plans Milan stay

Pirlo: Happy at Milan

Milan star Andrea Pirlo has revealed he would like to finish his career at the club.

Pirlo is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Europe and has attracted the interest of a host of top clubs.

The Italian international says he has no plans to leave the Rossoneri and would be happy to extend his contract at the Serie A titans.

“My future? I still have a long contract with this club, and even though there are other teams who want me I am very tied to Milan,” Pirlo told the club’s official website.

“I don’t think there is a better team around. I really hope I end my career here. My contract expires in two years, but I hope to extend it in the future.”
