Cologne complete transfer coup
1. FC Köln have signed Portuguese midfielder Petit from Benfica.

The 31-year-old, also known as Armando Goncalves Teixeira, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option for a third season.

Sixth new signing

Petit, who completed a medical earlier today, is Cologne's sixth new signing after defender Pedro Geromel, full back Pierre Wome, midfielders Wilfried Sanou and Miso Brecko and striker Manasseh Ishiaku.

The Strasbourg-born 31-year-old had been at Benfica since 2002, winning the Portuguese cup in 2004 and the league one year later.
