Quaresma: Inter link
This summer is the best time for Ricardo Quaresma to leave Porto for a major European club, according to the winger’s agent.
Quaresma has starred for Porto since joining from Barcelona in 2004 and reports suggest Inter Milan are close to agreeing a €25million (£20m) deal for the 24-year-old.
Speculation suggests the Portugal international is set to sign a four-year deal at Giuseppe Meazza as Inter boss Jose Mourinho looks to make his mark on his squad.
And Quaresma’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has now stoked the rumours by suggesting the player should move on.
“Now is the best time to leave Porto for a big European club,” Mendes told Portuguese media.
Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with Quaresma, who has scored 28 goals in 114 appearances for Porto.
