Stankovic: Wanted by Ranieri
Juventus manager Claudio Ranieri is hoping to sway fans’ opinion of midfielder Dejan Stankovic by praising his attributes.
The club have reportedly been in advanced talks for the Internazionale man’s services before a petition from supporters surprisingly halted the deal.
Ranieri is clearly still interested in securing the former Lazio man’s services by describing the 29-year-old as the ‘complete player’.
“Stankovic is a universal player with creativity, a great shot from distance, strong in the air and able to push up to support the strikers,” said Ranieri.
“He is a complete player. I am convinced it would only take two or three games for the fans to forget all their complaints.”
