Anderson is no stranger to loan spells after spending a year gaining experience with League One champions Swansea City, where he scored 10 goals in all competitions, and was named Swansea Young Player of the Year.
Swansea manager Roberto Martinez had hoped to extend the youngster?s loan deal on a permanent basis, but the 19-year old was keen on a move to the former European Cup winners, Forest.
Anderson says: ?I enjoyed last season on loan at Swansea but after speaking to Forest I just felt that it was the right move for me. I?m joining a big club in Forest and I am very excited about the challenge of trying to help them make an impact in the Championship.?
The confident winger originally featured at West Bromwich Albion as a schoolboy, before moving to Hull City where his father Phil Anderson also played. In January 2006 he secured a move to Liverpool where he lit up their reserve team with some scintillating displays, and also helped the Reds achieve the first of two successive FA Youth Cups.
He has been capped at U19 level for England and has just signed a new contract to keep him at Liverpool until 2011.
