Güiza, who was La Liga?s pichichi last season scoring 27 league goals, is expected to leave Real Mallorca this summer with Arsenal the latest club to be linked to the Spanish striker.
According to the paper, Güiza is being viewed as a potential replacement to Emmanuel Adebayor who has been rumoured to be interesting both Barcelona and AC Milan in recent weeks.
Güiza, 27, is believed to have a £12 million buy-out clause in his contract which Arsenal could easily afford should they chose to cash in on Adebayor.
It had been reported that Güiza would be moving to Fenerbahce and had even gone so far as to have a medical at the Turkish club. However, the transfer has yet to be confirmed, sparking rumours that other clubs have moved in for the striker.
Güizais currently at Euro 2008 with the Spanish squad preparing for their semi final clash with Russia.
Despite his 27 goals last season he is not an automatic choice for his country, finding himself behind David Villa and Fernando Torres in the pecking order.
However, he has made two appearances at the tournament and scored his first goal of the tournament against Greece in the group stages to ensure manager Luis Aragones has something to think about ahead of the semi final.
Should be chose to move to the Emirates he will link up with Spanish colleague Cesc Fàbregas, who like Güiza, is also battling for a place in Spain?s starting line up.
