Juventus have handed a one-month trial to Chinese youngster Yang Yun.
The 20 year-old impressed Juve boss Claudio Ranieri during the 2008 Fiat Cup last week, which involved the Italian giants, Parma and Shanghai Shenhua.
Yang helped Shanghai upset the two-time European champions 2-1 and at times displayed a level of composure beyond his years.
Ranieri will have the defender train with the youth team for four weeks before deciding whether to offer a contract to the player.
Meanwhile, Juve have also finalised the signing of Swedish youngster Albin Ekdal.
The 17-year-old arrives form Brommapojkarna after a deal was struck back in January.
“I am really happy and proud to be wearing the Juventus jersey,” said Ekdal.
