Sol Campbell says that he is loving life at Portsmouth and in doing so has significantly dampened Villareal’s hopes of luring him to Spain.
Campbell, 33, has found a new lease on life with the south coast outfit, and could very well be capping a wonderful season for Pompey and himself personally by hoisting the FA Cup on Saturday.

The Fratton Park side will go into the Wembley showcase on the heels of their worst run of the season, but the revitalised England defender sees nothing but calm seas ahead.

?I?m feeling good. It?s sunny down here, sea air, it?s brilliant,? he enthused.

?I?ve got another year on my contract and I?m enjoying myself and family life, enjoying my football.

?I talked about going abroad before but if that was ever going to happen it would have happened a year or two ago.

?My situation is different now. If I never move abroad I?ll have no regrets. I just love playing football.?
