FC Energie Cottbus coach Bojan Prasnikar has prematurely extended his current contract with the Lausitz club until 2010.
That was confirmed by Energie's sporting director Steffen Heidrich.
“An excellent job”
Prasnikar had taken over from Petrik Sander in September 2007 and led Energie from 18th place to safety. His contract was due to run until June 2009.
“He has done an excellent job, so we're delighted to have secured his services for one more year”, Heidrich said.
