Russ doubtful for final stretch
Eintracht Frankfurt may have to finish the season withuot the help of solid defender Marco Russ, the club has announced.

The 22-year old, who has featured in 27 Bundesilga matches and scored three goals this season, is suffering from a painful bruised toe.

It's still unclear how long Russ will be inactive for. Head Coach Freidhelm Funkel could ony say, “He will definitely miss out against Wolfsburg. At the present moment in time, I'd say Saturday's game wil be questionable. He might not make it for the game against Duisburg, but the final match of the season might be possible for him.”

Chris on his way back

In other team news, another defender is on the road to recovery. Brazilian Chris is slowly recovering from a foot injury. “He's trained twice with the rest of the squad, but he will not make the team-sheet for the Wolfsburg game”, commented Funkel.
