Spurs target stays quiet

Fornaroli: In-form

Tottenham are reported to have joined the chase for in-demand Uruguayan Bruno Fornaroli.

The 20-year-old has burst onto the first-team scene with Nacional this term and he has fired 13 goals in just 25 starts.

Now it is claimed that Spurs No.2 Gus Poyet has been tipped off about Fornaroli and has discussed the youngster with his boss Juande Ramos.

However, Spurs may have left any interest too late with Italian clubs Napoli and Lazio already said to be in talks with his agents.

Spanish sides are also said to be taking a keen interest in the talented striker, who himself is concentrating on his duties with Nacional.

“My representative is dealing with it and that allows me to be quiet,” Fornaroli told Observa.

“Any transfer is not an issue for me. I hear everything and it is hard to always seperate it.”
