Toni: Happy at Bayern for now
Luca Toni plans to finish his career back in Italy, but does not expect to leave Bayern Munich in the summer.
The Italian striker joined Bayern from Fiorentina last summer, but has been linked with an end-of-season switch to Milan.
Toni is enjoying his time in German football and is not planning to move on in the near future, despite the rumoured interest from Milan.
However, the 30-year-old confirmed he eventually wants to go back to Italy in order to reach a century of goals in Serie A.
Difficult
“Me at Milan next season? I don’t think so,” Toni told La 7 tv.
“For the moment I see that being difficult, Milan have other interests and it’s really difficult that I would leave Germany.
“When I do finish this adventure at Bayern Munich I would like to come back to play in Italy, also to reach 100 goals, due to the fact I’m now on 91.
“I’m really tied to Italy. Here, there isn’t the same stress there is in Italy, but I’m also missing it.
“When I finish here, I see myself in Italy again.”
