Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sure made for some tasty soundbytes today…
First, he accused Inter of ‘tapping up’ Alexander Hleb, and then he refused to rule out the possibility of Thierry Henry making an emotional return to the club.

Yesterday Inter coach Roberto Mancini admitted that they are keen on luring Hleb away from the Emirates stadium, which did not sit well at all with his French counterpart.

?Statements from inside the club saying they are interested in our players, without calling us that is not acceptable,? Wenger fumed.

?You would never hear me saying that. If I am interested in a player I go to the chairman.

?The newspapers may have the speculation but for a club to come out with a statement like that and not even call… I think it is disrespectful. It is illegal.”

Wenger also pointed out that the transfer clamour surrounding Mathieu Flamini is a different matter due to the fact that he will be out of contract this season.

?I said always a decision will be made at the end of April one way or the other [about Flamini], but in his case we do not master the situation and I can understand the speculation,? he added.

?But for all the rest, I find it completely disrespectful for all the others players in our team.

?I can understand the speculation coming out from the newspapers but coming directly from the clubs enough is enough, and we report anybody now to Fifa.?

Wenger concluded by admitting that he would consider bringing former Arsenal hero Thierry Henry back to the club.

?In our situation never say never, but with Thierry he only left last year and I think he is disappointed that it has not gone as well as he wanted it to go.

“But I still feel he is a world-class player and he has proved in Barcelona that he is one of their better players.?
