Borussia Dortmund will be without Sebastian Kehl for the Bundesliga match at Frankfurt this coming Friday.
The 2002 World Cup runner-up and 2006 World Cup third-place finisher will not be available due to two partially torn ligaments in his lower left ankle.
It is hoped the 28 year-old will be available for selection in the home match against 1. FC Nürnberg the following weekend.
Injured against Hanover
Kehl suffered the injury nearly a week ago in the Bundesliga match against Hannover 96.
However, Kehl was able to play in the German Cup Final this past Saturday against Bayern Munich thanks to injections administered by Team Physician Dr. Markus Braun. Kehl will have to skip training for a few days thanks to the injury.
