Gattuso set for talks
Rino Gattuso’s agent says that the player is set to remain with Milan rather than join Manchester United this summer.
The Italian international was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League giants last week - with Sir Alex Ferguson a long-time admirer of the spirited Milan midfielder.
The former Rangers star has been with Milan for nine years and is a huge fans favourite.
The player’s agent Claudio Pasqualin admits talks over his future are due but he expects him to remain at Milan.
Milan deal?
“Rino is a Rossonero through and through like few others,” said Pasqualin.
“We will meet with the club soon, but I believe it is Gennaro’s true intention to remain at Milan.
“First, however, we have to speak with the club and then we will see.”
Gattuso’s current deal still has three-years left to run.
