Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra also wants the Red Devils to seal their second consecutive Premier League title on Saturday by beating rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United could afford to draw with title challengers Chelsea at the weekend and maintain their three-point lead at the top, knowing they also have the cushion of a significantly superior goal difference.

But United’s French left-back does not want the title race to go on any longer than necessary, so is looking for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to secure the prize at the earliest opportunity - which is at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

And Evra insists the Red Devils are ready to claim the title on Chelsea territory, even though to do so they must end Chelsea’s unbeaten home record that now stretches beyond four years.

“I am happy we have the point from Blackburn. It is going to be an important one,” Evra told the Manchester Evening News after Carlos Tevez’s netted a dramatic late equaliser at Ewood Park.

“It would have put a lot more pressure on us if we had had to go to Chelsea with only two points separating us.

“You don’t have to do all the calculations, you just have to win. If we win at Chelsea then we are the champions again. That’s it.

“It will be hard there but we have the team to go and win. We are ready to go there and win. We have the destiny in our hands. We must be professional.”

Evra is eagerly anticipating to two games in four days that will probably define how successful United’s season will be. They go into the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Barcelona on Wednesday at Camp Nou.

“These next two matches are the most important two games of our season,” he said.

“Of course, if we make it to Moscow that will be the most important but for now these are the vital ones. They are tough games.

“Our team is always confident. We go to Barcelona in the same confident mood we go into all matches. We can enjoy our game over there in Spain.

“We have a tough game in Barcelona and then the chance to win the title at Chelsea.

“We must enjoy these games. There is pressure and we have to win but we must also enjoy these moments.”
