Totti: Roma equaliser

The top two both drew as Internazionale were pegged back by Lazio and Cagliari held Roma.

Internazionale started brightly against Lazio and took the lead through Hernan Crespo in only the tenth minute.

However, Tommaso Rocchi netted for Lazio in the 59th minute to boost their slim European hopes.

Roma, though, had earlier stumbled in their pursuit of the leaders as they drew 1-1 with struggling Cagliari.

With one eye perhaps on the UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester United in midweek, Roma fell behind in only the third minute when Matteo Ferrari put through his own net.

Francesco Totti equalised on the stroke of half-time but Roma could not force a winner.
