Inamoto to play for Japan again
Eintracht midfielder Junichi Inamoto will make his first appearance for Japan in nearly six months, it has been announced.

The 28 year-old has been nominated to join National Team Coach Takeshi Okada’s squad for the 2010 World Cup qualifier against Bahrain in Manama on March 26th.

“We want to win our first away game, and I will do everything I can to help the team. Since I have been in Germany, I have been in top form”, said Inamto, who has already made 68 appearances for Japan and scored four goals.

Takahara also inthe squad

Inamoto, who joined Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer, has made 23 appearances for the ninth-placed club, reaping a lot of praise in the process.

Inamoto will team up with an old colleague: former Frankfurt goal-getter Naohiro Takahara is also back in the Japan squad. The striker has been left out of late while he was improving his fitness. Takahara left Frankfurt to join urawa Red Diamonds during the winter break.

Takahara has scored 23 times in 56 appearances for his country.
